How does A Life Of Active's portal work?
A Life Of Active members can sync their wearable, Google Fit or MOVES mobile application with the system, get informative articles from the Active Ager (www.activeage.co) and enjoy merchant privileges. Through the portal, members are encouraged to keep good health by walking and taking part in Challenges to earn points, incentives and rewards. The portal is free to join but Challenges can only be accessed by upgrading to paid plans.
What are your fees to join A Life Of Active?
You can sign up for an A Life Of Active account for free. This will provide you with access to a dashboard where you can track your steps (and points), a profile page and a sync function with your wearable or mobile app.
What wearables and fitness Trackers does A Life Of Active currently support?
We currently support Google Fit and Moves mobile fitness app. For wearables, we support Fitbit and Jawbone. How much does it cost to participate in challenges?
If you would like to take part in the challenges to earn rewards or points, you will need to upgrade from a free account to a paid account. For Basic package, the fee for 12 months is SGD 36. There is a Family package where up to 3 persons can join Active Ager Asia. The main account registrant will get two promo codes to give to 2 other persons to join as basic account members. The fee for 12 months is SGD 90.

How do I know that my app/device is connected to my A Life Of Active account?
Go to your profile page, you should see that there is a connected device if an app/device is connected. If there's no connected app/device, refer to the previous points on connecting an app/device to your A Life Of Active account.
My app/device is connected but why isn't my step count synced?
In the unlikely event that the data from your app/device's server was not picked up by our system, you can sync your app/device manually: 1) Go to Menu 2) Click on Profile 3) Click on the 'Refresh' icon beside your connected app/device 4) The page should reload and a pop-up window will show the message, 'Sync Successful' 5) Go back to your Dashboard and your step count should now be synced
I've done all the steps but my step count is still not syncing.

What are Challenges?
Challenges are activities that members can take part in, to walk a specific distance or number of steps, and win a reward or qualify for a lucky draw to win a bigger prize.
What do you mean by Challenge starts on Time Zone of GMT +8 Hours?
The start and end of our challenges are based on GMT +8 Hours.
What if I am not located in GMT +8 Hours? Can I still participate in your challenges?
Yes, definitely. We welcome all participants in regardless of where you are located. You will need to have a paid account in order to participate in the challenges.
Is it a fair calculation of steps if I am not in GMT +8 Hours?
We have a fixed time and date for all our challenges and for participants who are not in the same time zone as us, we will pull their fitbit data based on our time. For example, if a challenge starts on 13th Feb, GMT +8 Hours and you are located elsewhere, the challenge will still start based on GMT +8 Hours – depending on where you are located, it can be earlier or later. (Eg, if you are located in a place that is GMT +4, the challenge will start 4 hours earlier in your timezone) For a challenge that has a duration of 8 days, 8 days of sync data will be use in regardless of where you are located. You just have to take note that the challenge date and timings are all based GMT +8 Hours.
Can I manually enter my activity data into one of the tracking services I have linked to A Life Of Active?
No. We use only the tracked data recorded by your wearable or Google Fit or MOVES mobile app to convert into points. This process allows us to work with brand partners to offer high value rewards and incentives to our members.
Will there be support for other fitness trackers or wearables? I don't have a Fitbit/Jawbone, do you support other wearable brands?
We are always on the lookout to support additional devices. If it's not on our list, send us an email if you'd like to check on our ability to support your device.

What if the steps in my tracker and A Life Of Active don’t match?
We know technology doesn’t work perfectly all the time. If a technical problem causes A Life Of Active’s step count to not match with the steps in your activity tracker, our support team will work with you to resolve the issue. Just email support@alifeofactive.com with the details of the error. As A Life Of Active is a 3rd party aggregator for the different integrations, certain issues might be with the respective apps/devices. You may refer to their respective FAQ pages for more information.
What if my activity tracker doesn’t capture my steps one day?
A Life Of Active uses the step count in your selected activity tracker as the authoritative source of your steps. It is your responsibility to keep your tracker on you, charged, and in good condition. We cannot reverse disqualifications that result from your tracker being lost, out of battery, or broken.
I can't sync my tracker
Why don’t my Fitbit and A Life Of Active steps match? In order for A Life Of Active to get your Fitbit steps, you must sync your Fitbit regularly. All of your steps each week must be synced within 24 hours after the challenge has ended, otherwise they will not be counted in the challenges. If you are having problems please try these steps: First, open your Fitbit app on your phone and make sure it has synced with your Fitbit. If it hasn’t, please see this Fitbit help page: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/I-can-t-sync-my-tracker If your Fitbit has synced with your Fitbit app, go to https://www.fitbit.com/activities from your desktop computer and check that the step count there matches the step count in your Fitbit app. If they do not, visit the Fitbit help page above. If both of the above are working properly, go to https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/apps and make sureA Life Of Active has access. If A Life Of Active is not listed, go to www.alifeofactive.com, log in, and in the upper right menu, select Profile → Change Device → Fitbit. How would I know if I am a winner of a Challenge?
